Nature created so many exciting things around us, and everything has a purpose of creation. Birds are a very beautiful creation of the nature. Birds bring life in our lives in various ways. There are many birds that people keep as a pet. There is a huge difference between bird pets and other pets’ like dogs or cats, etc. Caring of birds is a totally different issue as compare to any other pets.
There are number of people who keep birds as pets, but they don’t attempt to bond with their birds. The strength of bonding between you and your lovely bird will directly put a positive effect on the quality of life of the bird. Consider this important point that birds are highly social creatures and some of them are very demanding for attention. Many birds tell you with their actions that they need your attention. For example, bird may begin to pluck its feathers or start screaming constantly for attention. If you think that you will manage to spare some time for these lovely creatures, you are more than welcome to keep them for long time otherwise it is better to pass them to someone who has time to spare for birds.
Many people having bird pets have no idea that birds have special dietary requirements. There is a huge misconception among many bird owners who think that birds can only live on seeds. In a way, it’s true that birds can live on seeds, but they can’t be happy all the times. Many birds require fresh fruits and vegetables, the occasional snack of people food, and lots of fresh waters. So while you plan about the diet of your bird, don’t make the mistake of thinking that the package of some type of generic bird seed available in a grocery store is more than enough for a bird.
For many reasons, birds are to be kept in cages, and the top most reason is because of their safety. Don’t try to keep your birds in smaller cages. Your bird’s cage should be large enough to give him enough space to spread his wings and move easily in the cage.

Bird owners pay their significant time in caring, planning and in domesticating and socializing their birds to develop a strong bond, good friendship and trust between them. Birds are not tame like other pets having flock behavior. So it is a quite tedious and time consuming at first to create a bond with your birds. At the same time it is of great importance to understand their behavior and make them friend. Also it is essential to building a long enduring and lively relationship with your birds.
For taming your birds there are various easy familiarizing exercises which make your tiny feather friends familiarize with you. It can help you to keep away their risk of illness or injury.
These effective exercises will strengthen the connection between you and your birds and have a vital influence on their life too. Its will a great experience as well as the quality of your ownership. These successful ways help you to tame your timid birds to warm up and make them as amusing pets.
The first step of these exercises is to share your food with your birds. If your bird is inhibited at first in taking food put a piece from same loaf you eat. Thus by sharing your meal with your birds make them believe that you are not dangerous for them. It will enhance your relationship with your birds. The food should be unsalted and unseasoned because it is safer for their health.
The second step in familiarizing your tame birds is to speak gently in sweet voice so to make them happy. You see that doing this you can gain their attention.
The third step in making your birds as best pets is to play with them and spend some time in front of them. These birds are not familiarized with home environment and humans. Even some birds are mistreated and harass by people. So the first period with your birds will spend in caring. Treat these birds as your family members. They will also behave in the same way.
The next step is to clean their cages, bowls and your birds. They are also willing to take showers. They play and enjoy if you shower them. For achieving this you should follow the previous steps and make them more comfortable with you. Handle your delicate feather friend with caution. Please not use hard hands and sudden movements otherwise then will harass and avoid you.
